Very bad service, only tastes like that

Top! Delicious!

Visiting for the 5th time. 5 stars every time! The fish and meat are always fresh and of a very high quality. When I asked, I was informed that all (curry) sauces are homemade. The hotel has a chic ambience + the Don A team, which is well trained, attentive and polite. The price performance is absolutely recommendable.

The environment is elegant and the service staff are kind.

We felt very comfortable here for lunch and ate particularly delicious. The jasmine tea was also very good. The price-performance ratio fits. It's nice that, despite the location in this (also great) hotel, there are no inflated prices. The ambience is very modern and cozy. The drinks menu entices you to stay here in the evening.

Since we apparently did not fit into the clientele, we were not taken for granted and were therefore not served. Then we left again. It's a shame that you don't win new customers that way.

I liked that very much. I am not sure which direction (Korean, Chinese etc.) Dong A is going, but I found the quality and taste very nice.

A mixture of Vietnam and Japan, or even Chinese dishes - which direction does the restaurant really go? The lights went out punctually at 6 p.m. Reading the cards was impossible. The starter of the papaya salad turns out to be a green salad with a papaya fan on top - result: completely wrong. The main course is lukewarm. All in all a shame, but an improvement is urgently needed here.

The starters were exceptionally good. Great preparation, great presentation. We had tuna tartare and teriyaki sashimi. The main courses, we had the crispy duck, but due to too much sauce it was no longer crispy and the duck meat was not breast and a bit chewy, the burger patty was too tight and very dry because it was fried too hard. But overall good value for money. I think if we had chosen fish dishes for the main course everything would have been perfect. Service is very friendly but still linguistically viable.

Modern and fancy style restaurant I enjoyed noodles

As a vegan, I am always looking for new places to try around Tiergarten, and I was delighted when I found out about Dong A. It's a high-end Asian restaurant with very friendly staff and modern interiour. They have several vegan options, I have now tried several of them, and everything tastes really good, but the vegan curry is to die for! Served in a hot pot, with a perfectly balanced mix of spices and such a crispy and delicious tofu. No matter if you are vegan or not, you have to come by and try!

I really like this restaurant! It just opened and is close to S-Bahn Tiergarten, a bit hidden, but worth the five minute walk. They have a wide menu, even including five vegan (super delicious) dishes! Also great service and a really nice place. Recommending!
